My 6 week old newborn won't sleep in his bassinet and my husband and I have trouble getting enough sleep at night. We assumed he didn't sleep in it because there is so much space and our little one loves to be hugged and swaddled like any newborn. We bought it because it has so many good reviews. The material is soft, easy to assemble and wash, very good quality. Although this is the first day we use the carrycot, our newborn slept for about an hour (and longer than ever in his cradle). I think it will take some time to get used to, but so far I can already see the difference. He definitely loves it and I think it was one of the best investments I've made as a young mom. I will update after a few more uses.
