I had a freshwater fish with a sudden onset of disease. I chose to leave him in his environment to relieve stress but wanted to make sure the disease wasn't spreading to other fish and that it wasn't damaging the 'good' bacteria or plants or upsetting the water chemistry. Eventually the fish died; the miracle did not happen for him. But the water parameters weren't affected and my other fish didn't get sick. My biggest gripe was the measuring spoon that came with the medicine. When I unscrewed the cap that the spoon was connected to and lifted it up, a lot of medicine was lost/spilled. Later, during the treatment, when I carefully counted the spoons of medicine, the spoon came off the cap! I would have preferred the spoon NOT attached to the cap but simply included in the box that comes with the medication container.
