Works great in power steering
My car had a hard time turning left and didn't want to change the rack and pinion at first. So first of all, as an exception, I replaced the power steering pump and the belt. The pump wasn't the cause of my left turn difficulties. My old pump has a slight leak and hum so I'm glad I replaced the pump, belt and pulley. I also replaced it with a Cardone rack and pinion gearbox and after 3 months both are working great.
