Great adapter for the price. Used it to capture files from a very old (only 60GB) IDE hard drive and it worked great. I haven't tried the other two ports (2.5IDE or SATA) or the One Touch Backup button (and I wouldn't trust that button anyway), but I have no reason to think they won't work as well. Also, it's nice that they include power supplies for both SATA and IDE (Molex) so you don't have to worry about connecting to your computer's power supply. The quality of the physical components is pretty good - I wouldn't worry. anything that wears out or breaks with normal use. And all cables are designed to only fit in the path you want them to go, so you don't have to worry. All in all a very handy tool that is well worth the price IMO.
