Out of the box they looked good, the tips didn't look much different than regular wood or metal drill bits. I thought I'd try them out. The holes drilled in the concrete to install the equipment anchors went in about 3/4" and stopped. Wouldn't go any further. Tried wetting the hole, nothing changed, another bit wouldn't go. Moved the hole 1" same result. Tried another metal cutting bit and thought I hit the metal, it went down 1/4" and (expected) blunted the metal shavings. So after wasting 5 of these bits and one metal bit, I bought another one from the local hardware store and drilled like clockwork. I don't recommend anyone thinking they can do the job because they won't! Please note the video of these drilling the concrete block is accurate. This will discussed. Deep and stop working.
