Review on Sony XSMP1611 6 5 Inch Marine Speakers by Jerry Mangum

Somehow our only speaker broke on our 2007 Cobalt boat. I looked for a replacement but they don't make them anymore. These are the new ones Sony makes, which is why we bought them. We went to a few boat shops and looked at different ones and even bought a different brand and installed them but the sound wasn't very good and cost a lot more. My husband sent them back and ordered from Revain. They are perfect for replacing old ones and are much easier to install than other brands. The sound is great and they look very nice. Since they are a little different from the old version, we installed these two in the bow of the boat and left the rest at the back. In summer we spend a lot of time on our boat and it's nice to listen to music. I think this new version will be sturdier, especially with the thick plastic in the center of each speaker.
