Well…I don’t think the size chart was inaccurate so it took a few returns before I landed at the correct size, and even then—it wasn’t a great fit. The waist is extra tight on these and really digs. In addition, the thighs are too roomy, but—the worst thing is the padding. I say these aren’t for adults because even if you can technically fit them—that’s not going to make it okay. The protection is inadequate for an adult, and if you are an adult looking for protection (which most of us want them for that purpose. It’s surely NOT for the fashion)…then I think these might be disappointing. I practiced falling in these, and still felt everything. Of course—I might be extra sensitive since I’ve broken my tailbone in the past on ice, but still. Especially if you’re a skater—go for the thicker foam pads. Find a product that fits well, but has thicker pads. If you’re a child—these would be fine. I think it’s a perfect purchase for them. They don’t need as much padding anyway.
