I decided to take up long boarding at an elderly age. One fall and I need I needed extra cushion. I have to say I'm well protected now. You've got my "tail" covered.

Well…I don’t think the size chart was inaccurate so it took a few returns before I landed at the correct size, and even then—it wasn’t a great fit. The waist is extra tight on these and really digs. I know this looks like a lot of padding but I just wore it while snowboarding and I felt every fall. The prior week I had worn a different, more expensive, pair of crash shorts that wasn’t as bulky and I barely felt it whenever I fell. I guess you get what you pay for. I will not be wearing these again.

This is one of the few that from the pic looked like it might actually protect the tailbone, even though all of them claim that they do. I was so nervous after reading reviews that I had perhaps ordered the wrong size. I’m 5’4 105lbs and I went with the XS which was advertised for 5-7yrs children. I’m typically a 24 waist and these do fit a little snug which is great for layering under sweatpants in the winter but still flattering enough to wear alone in the summer. Bought these for my husky build 11-year old son who is learning how to snowboard. He says it really helps soften the blow from all those falls. He can stretch these over his 32degrees thermal pants and still fit into his snowpants very comfortably.
