So my daughter's hair is very thick and long and I usually prefer to braid it because the style lasts much longer. This hair straightener is the BOMB! I washed and dried her hair first (because that's what you have to use on dry hair) and god it made her a lot more manageable for the french braid and showed the true length of her hair.
