They die really fast
This set burns through batteries like crazy. I have other flameless candles on similar timers and they go a month or two before needing batter replacements. These go a couple days, if that. The timer often fails, too. I'm not happy with them; I'll save them for special occasions when I need a bit more extra mood lighting. But they're not for everyday-set-the-timer kind of use.
