Really very faint: the carving is very light, the "abalone inlay" is extremely thin and doesn't reflect light anywhere - almost as much as the pictures suggest and worse by the beep; The flip cap wobbles and clicks from side to side like a cheap $6 lighter! :) Shame on Zippo at this $00 price point: this lighter was supposed to retail for $40 as a "curio". NO "work of art" :( I must have a baud; but HOW did mine even pass zip quality control? Do they even have anything in place? Zippo sells "seconds" from Japan and calls them "Well" " :(
