Accuracy in the normal range. If it goes blank, it's not an outlier. Or the spring clip holding the battery has lost contact. (Remove the battery, bend the spring inward, replace the battery) Either the battery in the kit is dead. Some of the six packs died very young. But with the new batteries, all six still work. So one star for the dodgy batteries they come with, but for $10 pop a pack of batteries in a trolley and it's done.
