I bought these for students to use in an incubator project. They worked great until some student projects got too hot and they overheated. Of course, student projects should not be heated to such a temperature above 50 degrees Celsius, but I did not expect that after overheating they would fail. In general, they're cheap and accurate, they just don't do well in warm weather.

Great little product. Exactly. Tested with a range of more expensive and very accurate sensors. Got the exact same results. Bought more to put in some herb filled clear containers. It's very easy to see through the glasses to check the temperature and humidity. No more guesswork. Gives peace of mind and knowing I'm storing my herbs properly.

Good if you are dealing with the metric system. Only worked in degrees Celsius. Revain support thought I was an idiot!? I told them I took the thermometer apart and there was no button to press. I was constantly being told to take a very small screwdriver and "stick it in the hole in the back". All the ones I had didn't have a Fahrenheit knob. However, there was a "hole" at the back.

They arrived as described and on time. However. Out of the 6 in my pack only 5 are working. They all read about the same temp and humidity, but the temp shown (at 72f) is about 2-3 degrees higher than it actually is. I have no way of checking the humidity accuracy. I can continue to use them for my purposes. <--- By the way, it was a play on words. Some of you may understand.

Accuracy in the normal range. If it goes blank, it's not an outlier. Or the spring clip holding the battery has lost contact. (Remove the battery, bend the spring inward, replace the battery) Either the battery in the kit is dead. Some of the six packs died very young. But with the new batteries, all six still work. So one star for the dodgy batteries they come with, but for $10 pop a pack of batteries in a trolley and it's done.

They might be good enough depending on what you're looking for, but I ended up going back because they just didn't seem like value for money (finally I bought a fancy Bluetooth connected one). Everyone seemed to read a little differently, but I'd say they were all within a degree of each other. I managed to switch most thermometers to F but one refused to switch! The other didn't work at all. I bought these for greenhouse use and I knew they wouldn't hold up well.

For those who don't know, HVAC vacuum pumps are used to remove air and MOISTURE. I have a 5 gallon vacuum chamber that I put them in and they have NEVER dropped below 17%. I pumped the chamber down to a 1000 micron vacuum and left it there for a couple of days where the water boils at less than six degrees and is removed from the chamber. I restarted the pump several times throughout the day while maintaining a high vacuum. There is NO humidity in the chamber, but it is 17-18%. TOTALLY CRAZY…

Update June 2019: The seller accidentally contacted me 4 months after purchase to offer a refund and I agreed. Unfortunately, my original review still stands. At least 2 out of 6 will flicker, go mad and reset if you just touch them. Some just turn off and you have to wiggle them and fiddle with batteries to keep them on. I don't even use them for what I originally bought them for. Now they're scattered randomly about my newly sealed basement to keep track of fluctuations, and they're hardly…
