For an amateur, the camera is quite suitable if you use it for its intended purpose. Although the video on it is in full HD quality, it is better to take photos on it. A wonderful camera for the price, considering that it (like most compact digital cameras) has a Chinese assembly. Different pros: Full HD video recording (1920x1080); stereo microphone + wind noise reduction; high-speed shooting (120 fps 640x480, 60 fps 1280x720, 15 fps 1920x1080); 10x optical zoom with 17mm lens diameter; the camera fits easily into a pocket; 16 megapixel shots; convenient control wheel on the rear panel; lack of a touch screen (all the necessary buttons are on the back, and the screen gets less dirty); many scene modes; simple panorama and intelligent portrait; face and smile recognition function; CMOS matrix, with which noise is not so visible in poor lighting (unless, of course, you increase the ISO sensitivity). Its cons: If used too often, dust gets into the lens, onto the matrix, which causes blurry spots in the image under certain conditions; some screws on the case begin to spontaneously unscrew; the "bright colors" function is completely absent; the red backlight does not work well, the camera barely focuses with it; noise is heard on video recording along with sound, the noise reduction function does not help much; video is shot at a frequency of 29.97 frames / sec, the camera was developed for European countries; when shooting a video, fast-moving objects turn out to be inclined, although in fact they were strictly perpendicular to the ground; also, when shooting a video with flashes (for example, lightning), not the entire screen is illuminated, but a part, and this is very noticeable when viewing frame-by-frame; if you point the camera at the sun with a magnification of 1x, several more "suns" around the main one will be observed, this is reflected from the lens by the matrix cells themselves; shooting a video for no more than 29 minutes, then you need to press the record button again.
