Out of service exactly one year after purchase! This is one of those self-destructing chip products that knows when it's out of warranty! ;-) I'm very frustrated as most reviews point to one or the other Netgear extension cord as the best buy right now. I don't usually return with loyal patronage to a manufacturer whose product lasts ONE year. I might as well rent it for $10 a month! It no longer works at all on the 5G channel and drops 2.4G every few minutes even after a firmware update and a completely new setup. Now let everything it can reach work directly from my TP-Link router
