Works and still works. I pulled out the fuel pump assembly, removed the electric fuel pump from the assembly and soldered it to the factory wiring harness. Zip cable tied to assembly and reinstalled on 8/4/2021. So far no problems on the freeway. Although I had some trouble attaching the fuel pump filter. It has an odd locking clip and it would be a lot easier to just use a screw to hold it in place. I cut off the edges of the plastic piece so I can stick the bracket onto the plastic tab. I tried many times to do it without cropping but it didn't work. Hopefully this stays in place as it is a key element in the smooth operation of the pump. To be honest I should have just used epoxy instead of fixative. In general it seems to be working fine.
