. 2011 Crown Vic Police Interceptor and I am very happy with it. This was my first experience with a fuel switch.

I just installed this fuel pump on a 2011 Crown Vic Police Interceptor and am very pleased. This was the first time I replaced a fuel pump. Thanks to the many YouTube videos showing how to do it, you don't have to drain the fuel tank. I had to use the wiring from this kit to rewire and crimp the 2 wires going directly to the pump itself. Fired up immediately and works well. Definitely 5 stars. I was happy with this fuel pump so I bought another one and installed it on my '98 Ford Ranger todayโ€ฆ

Crown Victoria 2010 Police Interceptor

Works and still works. I pulled out the fuel pump assembly, removed the electric fuel pump from the assembly and soldered it to the factory wiring harness. Zip cable tied to assembly and reinstalled on 8/4/2021. So far no problems on the freeway. Although I had some trouble attaching the fuel pump filter. It has an odd locking clip and it would be a lot easier to just use a screw to hold it in place. I cut off the edges of the plastic piece so I can stick the bracket onto the plastic tab. Iโ€ฆ

Good deal and efficient.

Lessons Learned, this comes with its own plug and always requires that plug to work. There were a few reviews saying it didn't work and I was pretty much one of them, except when I looked closer at the box I found a stub. I put the cork in the pump and I click, oh-oh-oh! The blue wire is + and the black wire is on XB1. I modified the pump housing and plastic housing to make everything stick back together. I didn't have a Dremel, but I got creative with some pliers and a razor blade. Just makeโ€ฆ

Performance Designation Compliant

I would like to take some time to thank HFP Fuel Systems for making a great product and for great communication and customer service. I bought a fuel pump for my 1997 Nissan Maxima last year and HFP helped me solve an installation problem I was having with a strainer. HFP immediately sent me a couple of alternative filters, both of which were perfect for my application. What impressed me even more was the increase in performance I felt with the new pump. I know a simple pump won't be the firstโ€ฆ
