This grinder would be great if it worked like it's supposed to. When there is no food inside, the grinder will rotate 1/8 turn each time you grind it, as shown in the picture. But once the food is placed it becomes difficult to push it through as the blades are not very sharp. In addition, in most cases it does not rotate. Sometimes I had to lightly half-press it to make it spin. This way the food (I use it most for mincing garlic) ends up in very large chunks if I'm not careful as the blades only cut in one or two places. that it is a big problem to delete it. The blades don't retract and I had to squeeze the blade with my hand to keep it retracted to clean under the running water. I don't think the blades are dishwasher safe at all. As a result, after half a year of use, it is not very clean and smells strongly of garlic, the only thing I use for slicing, and therefore I could not use it for slicing other foods.
