Efficient and durable

We bought this to replace an old one that broke. This is a durable model. Easy to clean and easy to use. I'm a happy customer.

Pros
  • Great range
Cons
  • Good but not great

Great for slicing strawberries!

I mainly use this chopper in spring/summer when strawberries are in season. When I make strawberry shortcakes, they are a lot easier to cut. Delicious!

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Long wait

Fabulous Food Chopping

I had a similar product many years ago and it lasted forever. I ended up having to replace it with this one. Most people like using electric food processors, but with the push of a button, my onions, peppers and tomatoes are chopped up in seconds and ready to be added to salad dishes. No additional costs on top of my already high electricity bill.

Pros
  • Delicious
Cons
  • Unsure

Waste of closet space

This was one of those kitchen appliances I wanted to try that I used 3 or 4 times and then they stuffed it in the back of the closet and it sat there unused, takes up space until eventually I just threw it away. It didn't work well enough and the knife is much easier to use. I love kitchen gadgets, but I didn't really like this one.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Speed

Nice little chopper

Easy to clean, nice and sharp blades. The blades are a bit tricky to clean safely when bits get stuck, but most of the time they just wash off with water. Grinding isn't everything, but it works well as long as you shake between grinds. Works great on nuts and hard things, but not so well on softer things (like peppers). Generally worth the money.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • It pisses me off

Out of Service: Chopper

The chopper worked fine for the first week, then the blades stopped turning. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me how to fix the problem. It worked, but only during the day. I contacted the manufacturer again and got nothing from them. Do not buy this item. On the other hand, if you want a really good chopper that's easy to clean, get Pampered Chef, which is available online. It's a bit more money, but worth it.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors appeared

Does the job, but not very well

This grinder would be great if it worked like it's supposed to. When there is no food inside, the grinder will rotate 1/8 turn each time you grind it, as shown in the picture. But once the food is placed it becomes difficult to push it through as the blades are not very sharp. In addition, in most cases it does not rotate. Sometimes I had to lightly half-press it to make it spin. This way the food (I use it most for mincing garlic) ends up in very large chunks if I'm not careful as the blades…

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Almost never
