Echelon 5,7,8 - heavy very wide shoes. 6 is much lighter and not nearly as wide. This shoe is perfect if you like the Saucony 2E running shoes but the midfoot or arch is too narrow. I like the comfort of the new staggers, but find them too loose to walk (requires painfully tight knots and is flexible). . They are lighter, denser, the heel is not so loose. Feels somewhere between Echelon/Triumph/Ritt. On the other hand, Saucony often go 1/2 longer than these shoes. Please take this into account when ordering.
