Exactly what I was looking for
With careful measurement they fit perfectly. The design has enough room for all of my chair's legs (the front legs are slightly larger and squarer than the back legs). Although they are a little tight on the front legs, they hold up well and allow the chairs to slide across the hardwood without scratching. Most importantly, they can be removed and washed. The felt pads we tried collected dust and hair from my dogs and kids and were impossible to clean. They slide off and you can easily clean them without piling up on the felt. In general it does exactly what I want it to do.
