The zipper's cheap material doesn't stand up to everyday use.
We bought this backpack for my 6 year old son and it lasted less than 4 months. The zipper threads have failed, the zipper keeps coming undone and won't stay together in the main compartment. I've repaired it several times and it keeps falling apart. It's not worth paying for something that just won't last, at least not for a whole school year.
