Review on ILIFE V3s Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner - Tangle-free Suction, Slim design, Self-Charging, Daily Schedule Cleaning - Ideal For Pet Hair, Hard Floors, and Low Pile Carpets by Heather Joseph

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This is a great little machine.

Good. If you're looking for a robot vacuum to deep clean your carpet, this isn't the one (I doubt a robot vacuum will do). I have 4 pets and it is not always possible to vacuum daily. I needed something that would pick up pet hair and kitchen crumbs. I was amazed at how well it did and how much it could pick up (hair, crumbs, kitty litter and dirt), not to mention how quietly it gets the job done. Yes, you should watch it the first few times it starts up because you just never know what it might trip over. My first run, I just let it run. I found (although it should have been a no-brainer) that depending on the thickness of the mats, it could snag on cables and "some" mats. He also hit my (gassing) access hatch to the fireplace, causing the hatch to open (it's just a touch), and then climbed over the hatch, went in and got stuck. It never occurred to me that that could be the case! Nothing hurt, just stuck. I also didn't move the chairs around the dining table so although he managed to get in there it took him quite a while to figure out how to do it but eventually it worked. So basically yes, you need to look and figure out what obstacles might get stuck. It has no problem moving the lightest of things like shoes, pet toys, etc., which I found amazing. When fully charged, it powered up my living room, kitchen/dining room, front living room, master bedroom and bathroom (the total area of my house is 2600 square feet. This covered the floor of this part) and returned to its station after the battery died. Outside. Approximately 1 hour. 20 minutes. It goes under the tables when it fits. So after you figure out what obstacles to remove, install it and forget about it (other than emptying the trash can). Mine fires every day at the set time. The only thing I want to do is climb on my furniture to shake off pet hair. It's a great little car and I will be buying 2 more, one for the top floor and one for my sister who has hardwood floors. I will write reviews on how well it works with hardwoods.

Pros
  • Not cheap, but decent
Cons
  • No insurance
