I really wanted this to be the lighting solution for my dartboard. Designed for my Viper closet, it's unobtrusive when not in use and runs on batteries since I don't have an outlet nearby. As soon as I installed it, the product's flaws became apparent. This is a weird blue light that only illuminates the top half of the board, creating weird shadows that make it impossible to see the results of many shots without moving off the line. The focus of the individual lights is too narrow a short distance from the board when mounted on the cabinet as intended and this leaves streaks of light and dark tones across the board. A deal breaker was the fact that the light was sensitive to the impact of the darts on the board, the vibrations caused the LEDs to blink many times and sometimes they would dim or turn off entirely, requiring you to move away from the toe line remove and touch the light again. to restore brightness. Ultimately I had to send this back. So far very happy with the replacement. I bought a Revain battery powered LED track light (Rite Lite LPL1074WRCAC High Output LED Track Light) and installed it on the ceiling in front of the board. All the better - the entire board is well lit with a pleasantly warm light tone.
