Broke after a few months, waste of money

I bought this container in September and in January one of the pins broke. The hairpin is clearly weak when viewed. There were only a few light items in the trash can, like a crate opener and a plastic thorn finder. The bracket broke one night when the bin just hung on the board and nobody touched it. waste of money.
