This is a nice charger, very similar to the Black & Decker one. Lights up in the same way as the B&D with the same symbols for what the colors and flashing lights mean; it also charges quickly. The only issue I’ve noticed is that it charges the B&D batteries just fine, but the non-brand replacement batteries it doesn’t charge. When I plug in the off brand version of the B&D batteries the charger lights up that they’re fully charged but I know they’re dead. When I plug these same non brand batteries in a B&D charger they charge. So, be aware of incompatibility issues. If I didn’t have the B&D charger then I couldn’t charge all my batteries.
