This thing is magic!

I have incredibly thick hair. So thick that the stylist booked me extra for a normal haircut and nothing else because it just takes so long to go through all my hair. For as long as I can remember I have avoided washing/wetting my hair because it takes SO LONG to dry due to its thickness. It takes me about an hour to dry my hair with one of those cheap little hotel room dryers. With my old hair dryer, which was a Conair model I bought from Target a few years ago for about $15-20, it takes me about 15-25 minutes to dry my hair (depending on how hot the day is is, conditions). Humidity). , etc). Air drying can take several hours. I've used it twice now and both times it's been much faster than my previous Conair dryer. I felt weirdly fast the first time, so this morning as I was using it I decided to time it to see how long it would last. From pulling my hair out of the towel to turning off the blow dryer because I was done drying my hair, it took SEVEN MINUTES. I'm not exaggerating at all - I checked the clock to be sure. For the first two minutes I just let my hair down, hung up a towel and combed my hair before finally turning on the hair dryer at 8:10, turning it off at 8:15. I couldn't believe it. This hair dryer is also great because it gets too hot for me unlike any other hair dryer I've ever used. I usually do my makeup first and then my hair and every other hair dryer I also had to have a small fan in the bathroom blowing in my face so the heat from the hair dryer wouldn't melt my hair. Take your makeup off or turn me into a sweaty mess. This hair dryer didn't have that effect - I used it with one of the attachments, not the diffuser or the one with the teeth but the other so it directed the airflow exactly where I wanted it, which I'm sure helped reduce a mass of hot air hitting my head and face. It also has a "cold shot" button like most hair dryers, but this one is a little different from other hair dryers I've used. Usually on dryers I've used in the past, in order to use the cool button, I had to hold it down the entire time I was using it. When I let it go, the air warms up again. So I expected it to be the same, but you don't have to stick with that. I just pressed it and it stayed at a cool level without having to hold the button down the whole time, and then I pressed it again when I wanted hot air again. This is a GREAT hair dryer if you have very thick hair like mine and are tired of spending too much time on it when it's wet. FIVE MINUTES of actual blow dry time and my hair was completely dry! Without making me feel like a hot, sweaty mess! I didn't think it was possible.
