- Velcro closure, has good reach but - The shoe itself is a bit narrow - The sole is firm and quite grippy but also very stiff - The straps on both shoes had different levels of damage - The back itself on the heel is like a hard hard Part, that hurt her- Shiny fabric is cute. There were a lot of things that just didn't work for us. 1 strap has nicks in the undecorated part so they are clearly visible and the other strap has scratches on the flat part. She walks in them like Frankenstein because they are so hard and that part of the heel hurts from the start. I'm giving it 2 stars because at least everything seems to be put together well, but that's just not the quality of the Stride Rite.
