I have been using Sony equipment for a long time. There is a monitor and a laptop of this company bought a long time ago. They still work, but this does not apply to Sony TVs. We bought a Sony Bravia TV in 2022 (about 27 thousand). The TV attracted attention with a good image. With moderate use worked for 5 years without any complaints. But this year there were stripes across the screen, and after that the image disappeared altogether. Took it to an authorized Sony service center. There they took money from us for diagnostics and said: "Wait!". After a couple of weeks, they reported that the matrix was ​​broken and that this spare part for the TV was no longer produced by Sony, but that you could try to "write off the TV" (Sony takes the TV and returns the money, because the life of the TV, according to Sony's official data, is 7 years , and he served only 5). They demanded a check for the TV from us. We gave them a check. They scanned it and sent it to Sony. But after another 2 weeks, we were informed that Sony refused to write off, but offered to repair the TV in Hong Kong for more than 17 thousand. Since you can buy a new one for this money, we refused to repair it. But as you understand, the annoyance of such an optional attitude towards the buyer remains, and Sony TVs are more expensive than their competitors with similar characteristics, and a matrix breakdown is a significant drawback!
