Beware the trusty Saucony. I've been a Saucony devotee for many years and have worn at least 8-10 pairs over the past 15 years. My last pair were Omni 15s bought in early 2017. I was quite happy with the landing at 8M. I have a hyperpronator, I have really flat feet: middle toe, narrower at the heel. So this year I decided to replace the Omni 15 with the Omni 16. The fit is COMPLETELY different and not for the better. Size 8 was shorter than expected which made my toes feel cramped so I went back for 8.5M. The length is better but the heel cup feels very wide and I feel my heel and ankle move a lot on long runs. I would like 8.5N but maybe the front end seems too narrow? The cushioning and arch support feels way worse than my 2+ year old Omni 15s which have been worn to death. and the worst thing is that I'm so sore and bursty from walking in these new shoes - I'm in places I never hurt. My hamstrings, calves and knees feel bad today after running a couple of 2-3 miles this week and 4.5 miles yesterday. Last week I ran the same distances and routes in a different pair of shoes and none of these issues. I wouldn't buy them again. Sorry to look for a new brand :(
