That is exactly what is written. Not a fancy tool, but it works. Make sure your sharpening stone is at least as wide as the rollers on the sides of the guide. The stone at Harbor Freight is about $3 and works great. Even my two smallest watch repair blades with a broken tip were easily repaired with this guide. I have to tighten the clamp screw with pliers to secure the shaft in the guide. Addendum: I just want the screw holding the screwdriver to not stick out that much. It would be really handy if I could just flip the guide and sharpen the other side of the blade.
