After my Cuisinart chopper cracked I bought this alternative thinking it could be an upgrade. It has a large storage capacity and an up and down movement of the blade, which I found interesting. After a few months of use I'd say I like the increase in capacity, but to be honest raising and lowering the blade only requires grinding. and grind longer and longer because the ingredients you want are at the bottom of the container 90% of the time. So you have to wait for the blade to shut down before it starts cutting again. Think garlic or onion. they sit below. If you only have a few cloves or half an onion, the blade will only cut them when it's at its lowest point. A dual blade (high and low) or a setting where you can lock the blade would be a nice feature.
