So, I have a third light. Me, but this is for my kid who is a voracious reader. She spends about 3 hours a night reading in bed, and I'm intentionally but warm (no blue light to protect her eyes). strong but a bit weak), and this one. For now this will be the best because it's the lightest (in use), has a large reinforced neck (doesn't flop) and the base isn't too heavy (book page buckling) or too light. BUT, and it's big. It just doesn't last long. I mentioned that I have a third one because the base keeps exploding. Twice! The battery pack bulges out exposing the battery compartment at which point it is simply unsafe to use (see photo). My other two flashlights (mentioned above) still work and were bought with the first one! In that time I've bought that stupid lantern three times. Yes, I'm the fool to buy it again. Honestly I would never buy it again other than it's my kid's favorite light. Parents understand how it works. Mainly because the brightness is just right for them. But I told her today that this is the last. I don't invest a euro in such a crappy product. Attention buyers!
