Review on Kanga Care Lil Joey Newborn All in One Cloth Diaper (2 Pack) - Sweet: The Perfect Diapering Solution for your Little One by Sarah Nguyen

Questionable weight range

Were ok for 1-2 weeks if they fit. We managed to avoid some of the leakage issues mentioned by other reviewers by snapping the waist ties in the bottom tier; Although they were excellent at retaining feces thereafter, they remained fairly weak at retaining urine. Obviously these are not disposable; They have to be changed after each baby goes out, but they struggled with that. By the time she reached her birth weight (8 pounds 5 ounces), in her loosest position, they were so tight they left pretty nasty dents in her skin. She's got quite a big belly, but her waist/hips are incredibly small (kids, to be honest). They came up where she was tiny, but still left marks everywhere. I'm not sure if it was because she was insanely active and kept turning on her side, maybe? Anyway, I found a post explaining how to "hack" AlvaBaby newborn diapers. We had several AlvaBaby and Simple Being so I did the same thing with both. It looks silly compared to Lil Joey's usual shot, but it works a lot better for us. I've seen some people complain about stains. To be honest, the stains don't bother me. I think it's just something that comes with the territory. But for the curious, here's what ours looked like after 1-2 weeks of breastfeeding. We've washed them inside out in the washing machine on Soak and Heavy Soil modes using Dreft detergent and no bleach, scream or anything else. I've noticed that after almost 9 weeks of use, pocket diapers have gotten a lot fewer stains than usual, but that probably has something to do with how the absorbency works I'm guessing? I wouldn't know.
