As an engineer, I appreciate the thought behind it. Very strong yet simple construction, double shear pins, good crimp quality. The weakest point here will be your furniture, especially if it's chipboard. A bit annoying when everything lines up with the bolt, but that's the case with most seat belts. I have bought them twice (after moving when I got more furniture) and have also recommended them to friends. These things are great.
