The bottom line is this radiator works well and it was very easy to replace the cracked radiator in my 2000 Silverado 1500 4x4 LS. First impression from the box - damaged. But in reality these are just a few bent fins (see photo), nothing serious, probably does not affect the cooling ability of the radiators. You put it in, fill it up, turn it on, the gear oil flows. Remove clamp, check o-ring (is there), reinstall - still leaking. I was able to get - ACDelco 24213958 GM Original Equipment Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooler Line at Auto Shop for $6. This fixed it. So either the O-ring was defective or the wrong fitting was sent. Anyway, I lost quite a bit of ATF in the process and made a mess, not exactly what I would have expected from a new cooler. All in all I fixed the radiator and the ATF leak, it was easy, you should probably have a higher quality radiator, but it's pretty much the same as the stock radiator that the truck came with.
