Works great, but be careful.

The boost converter is great for converting 9V to 24V. When I first tested it I only got 9V even with the trimmer turned up. I think I accidentally turned it counterclockwise because when I turned it clockwise a few turns the voltage jumped to 19V, after which I was able to adjust it to the 24V I needed. My app only required about 250mAh, so I'm guessing 2A is right. Remember that you have to turn it clockwise to increase the tension. There is no twist stop on the trimmer, so it's easy to make a mistake.
