Started for one hour at 5V, 1.2A (input), down to 13V on output. During this time it slowly warmed up and reached about 45 degrees. I would keep it at or under 1 amp with an 8 volt difference, maybe a little more with active cooling.

I bought this to step up the voltage from a USB portable battery to power a 12 volt solenoid valve. I only pass current when the switch is briefly pressed, so I can't comment on durability or burnout resistance, but the board works very well.

This thing works exactly as I expected. One turn of the potentiometer corresponds to an output change of about 1V. I use it to test an LED strip. I applied 5V from a USB power supply and set it to exactly 12V. Seems to be very sturdy. It worked for me with a full 10M LED string for a short time.

Excellent. It had an automotive computer module designed for a 16 volt output for backlight devices. Everything in the module worked except for this output function. I bought this regulator, adjusted the power on the stand and installed it in the car to bypass a feature. It worked the way we needed it to.

This is a great little track. I have used it to power a standard car cigarette lighter socket from a USB power bank or solar paper USB port to charge various small portable radios with a car cable. This is the perfect system to power anything that comes with a car cable. Setting the output to 12V was painless and the output voltage is very stable. I recommend this for any use up to 12w.

This converter switches to pulse skip mode at light load. This means it makes a coarse audible noise unless you get close to the current rating. The output voltage in this mode of operation is also very noisy with a significant (200-300 millivolts) sawtooth superimposed on the desired DC current. It's not strict, it suits my needs but it's not outstanding.

The boost converter is great for converting 9V to 24V. When I first tested it I only got 9V even with the trimmer turned up. I think I accidentally turned it counterclockwise because when I turned it clockwise a few turns the voltage jumped to 19V, after which I was able to adjust it to the 24V I needed. I liked it so much I ordered 2 more. I use it to boost USB voltage from 5V to 12V to charge my Icom ID-51 Plus. The charging circuit in this radio consumes no more than 350 mAh. I figured it was drawing over 500mA as the radio is limited in power supply. When charging the radio with 350mah, it consumes 1A at 5V USB. So far I've tested it with two USB power supplies.
