These glasses offer good value for money. The optics are above average for plastic lenses. I work in construction and although most of the work tends to be done at a desk, I still manage to wear my reading glasses pretty hard. I have tried many brands but for me it is easy to damage and difficult to keep any of the plastic lenses clean and shiny. I discovered some time ago that when buying cheaters for use on a computer, they recommend that you get half the performance of your regular readers. With this in mind I ordered my first blocking computer glasses and the difference in eye strain was tremendous. Changing both magnifications at the same time/first time along with the filter makes it difficult to quantify what helped the most, but from now on I will continue to use the 1/2 strength blue block cheats for computer use.
