The power pack has become a good replacement for the standard power pack. My only issue with the unit was that the main 24-pin connector came with a missing clip that secures the connector. Apparently it was broken before packing as it wasn't in the package so there was no shipping problem. The connector fits snugly so I decided to switch to a replacement without attempting to get a replacement. But I think it indicates poor quality control.
