You must buy this sheet if you have a 4 mom playground. Other sheets are not safe for sleeping. That being said, we have a baby who spits up a lot and I only wish this sheet would absorb more saliva at night. Since it's a type of microfiber, saliva just sits on it and then dries out and becomes hard and crusty. That's compared to its cotton sheets, which absorb it and don't get stiff, meaning you don't have to wash them every day. We wash this almost every day because of the spitting problem. I would say if your baby doesn't spit it's great and soft. But if it does, I might look for another playground as another sheet is not safe on this mattress.
