It does exactly what I want, makes a lot of noise. We bought e bikes this year and need to be able to secure them if we need to park and lock them. When you lock your bike, even with a great lock, there's still a change someone can cut off. That's why we decided to install this wonderful alarm. So if we park in a very public place someone will hear this loud signal. The idea is, very simple, someone hits or tries to move the bike and the alarm goes off. Sometimes when we're camping we have to leave our bikes outside of our RV and we feel a lot better knowing that if someone moves our bikes we'll hear an alarm. Just tether the alarm (included) to your bike and it also has a remote control holder that you can also attach to your bike. When you get off your bike take the remote and press the lock sign and now your bike is armed I just hang mine on alarm remote on a cord so I can easily hang it around my neck when we park the bikes. h great product, it can be used on scooters, motorbikes, bicycles or anything that you don't want anyone to walk away with.
