The child loves the colorful figures and the noise they make. The teethers are a good size and she realized she could pull on them to ring the bell. However, some leaf-shaped teethers are uncomfortable for a child to chew because their ends are not sufficiently rounded. Another problem is the length of the rattle toy. It must be hung high enough so that the teether does not hit the baby when it is lying down. She seems to do best when sitting, because then she can also play with the soft animal part. I gave it four stars because the kids love the friendly colorful animals and the sounds. It really is one of her favorite toys, despite the flaws.
