I sent it back. When I received the product and instructions, I found that you must disconnect the battery and keep it charged at the same time, otherwise the codes could be cleared or mixed up. I didn't want to experiment with my car. I would encourage you to google the actual installation on the internet before purchasing this product. I hope someone who has installed in a BMW X5 writes a review on the performance of the BMW after installation.
