They are very easy to assemble and come in a wide variety of shapes. I plan to put the detergent on one of my shelves, so I used the fifth square to give it more strength. You can also attach the back and use the half size panel to create the front of the bin. The instructions say to soak the connectors in hot water for ten minutes, but I didn't and didn't have much of a problem. I put them on (I'm in California - YMMV). A bigger problem would be removing them, in which case I recommend using a hair dryer or similar as they snap into place very firmly. Overall quality is about the same as a dollar store.
