This 50 amp RV outlet is a steal, but there's not enough room in the 6 gauge cord compartment. Be careful when sliding the wires into place to secure the connector plate. The plate screws are very small. Instead, I used two 1/2" pan-head Tex screws for assembly. In my opinion, as an electrician, your best bet is to use a full-body RV plug, such as Eaton's Cutler-Hammer type .
