I chose this toaster from among many based on price, features, ratings/reviews and design. As long as I like it It's just as easy or difficult to clean as any toaster, although I'd rather have the drawer on the front rather than the back so I don't have to move the toaster to gain access, but I suppose it's a visual design choice, because it probably wouldn't look as good with a front drawer. The buttons are simple and convenient. Cancel is fast and backlit, making it easy to find in low light. Defrosting works as expected and quickly. Bagel…. Well, I don't have the roguelikes to test it out yet, so maybe I'll update that when I get a chance. The dial has numbers up to 6 that indicate power level, not minutes, so it actually takes less time than the number, and you can rotate it to any position in between for extra control over how much you're using want to toast your bread. It makes a clicking noise so I guess you can count them if you like. As for its main purpose, toasting bread, I'd say it does it pretty well and fairly evenly. The highest setting is my favorite as it roasts just the right amount without burning it to a black crisp. I've attached a photo showing the toaster on the highest setting. I added some butter with jam and it was delicious. Overall, I can recommend this toaster without any problems and I can say that I am very satisfied with it so far.
