This kit contains almost everything you need to get started with Arduino except instructions. However, the Arduino official website and other online sources have plenty of guides and information to help you with this. The kit is fairly complete and includes everything shown in the description. The Arduino is a third party board but I had no problems with it. My only complaint is that no servo is included. A lot of Arduino projects focus heavily on servo motors and I'd love to experiment with one of those, but it's no big deal. The kit includes a stepper motor and a motor driver so you can play with it. In general I am very satisfied. This set provided me with lots of useful parts to get started, just what I needed.
