The screen won't open or close, it just gets stuck in the open position.

I just installed this radio after the first one I received had a cracked screen on the control panel. The screen won't open or close and gets stuck open. I didn't even spend a day with it before it stopped working. I can't get to the settings page. The radio will continue to sync to this screen. The GPS is fine and the radio works well. not sure why the screen is stuck. I tried opening and closing the screen with the open button but no movement. very sad.
