I hope this helps others hoping for a similar setup.

It didn't work for me at first, but then I found a safe way to make it work. I bought this with less understanding of 110v wiring than I do now. This LED night light requires a neutral wire, and you can't just replace an unused hot-ground switch with it. I bought this because I have an unused junk switch that goes to the ceiling light to power the ceiling fan motor and a separate switch next to it to control the light. The light switch location is the perfect spot for a night light as it is right in the middle of the hallway. Not only that, I wanted this because the ceiling fan I bought has a built in controller that turns off the light and fan with a remote control or via an app; Therefore only one of the switches and wiring to this device was required. Long story short, I went to the ceiling light, removed the wire cover, found an unused wire that went to the switch, connected it to the white neutral that the ceiling light used to complete the circuit, and pulled the neutral down on the LED switch was. Except for the black neutral conductor, which I fixed with white tape, the circuit is correct and the LED night light works great. my hallway light, the one in the middle, a ceiling fan/light (controlled by a remote to the right of the three-output fascia), and then of course an LED night light that's hooked up to the right circuit (unless you're anally involved this wire that runs like a neutral, black under the band, but that doesn't matter).
